Formed in Tempe in 2007, Katastro delivers an unique sound creatively blending elements of rock, funk, reggae, blues and hip hop. The local group has toured across the country, sharing the stage with 311, Awolnation, New Politics, Tomorrows Bad Seeds and more. Led by vocalist Andy Chaves, the alternative band mixes suave guitar rhythms, catchy lyrics and smooth melodies to produce memorable tunes and a chill vibe. Katastro has released 2 exciting EPs and 4 full-length albums including Gentle Predator, Washed and Strange Nights, featuring hit songs “Flow,” “Alone” and “Waste the Night.” Their new single “Stars” is their latest sensation.
