The Phoenician Four Jazztet
The Phoenician Four Jazztet was created for a last-minute show under the name “The Last Minute Trio” with only three members: Joshua Enns on drums, Tony Salce on saxophone and Scott Harris on bass. After playing the show, the group decided collectively to continue playing jazz together. Since evolving into The Phoenician Four Jazztet, Kristen Turner outfitted the band with her talents on guitar and piano, and Mike Willinger replaced Scott’s vacancy on bass. As a quartet, they continue to learn new jazz standards, write and arrange their own material and enjoy sharing their love of jazz at shows throughout the Valley.
